This Cookie Policy explains how AMUI uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on amuidesign.org.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage is another way for a website to remember information on your device. This policy covers both, together with similar technologies used for security and analytics.

Necessary technologies support website functionality, security and remembering your privacy choices.

We save your choice in your browser's local storage under amui-consent-preference. It records whether you have accepted optional analytics or chosen to use necessary technologies only. This preference has no automatic expiry in our application and remains until you change it or clear your browser's site data.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect against spam, bots and abuse. Turnstile may process technical signals, including IP address and browser information, for this security purpose, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Optional analytics help us understand website usage and improve performance and usability. These services load only after you select Accept All in Cookie settings.

The website may use the following services in the production environment:

• Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregate website usage statistics. Vercel describes the service as cookie-less; its request-derived visitor identifier is discarded after 24 hours. See Vercel's analytics privacy information.
• Vercel Speed Insights measures real-user website performance, such as page loading and responsiveness.
• Google Analytics 4, where enabled, measures website usage and page views. It does not load before analytics consent has been given.

AMUI does not currently use Google Signals, advertising features, User-ID or user-provided advertising data through Google Analytics.

Where Google Analytics 4 is enabled and you accept analytics, it may set first-party cookies such as _ga, used to distinguish visitors, and _ga_<container-id>, used to maintain session state.

Google lists a default expiry of two years for these cookies. Their duration may vary with the analytics configuration and browser settings. See Google's cookie documentation.

You can accept or reject optional analytics using the Cookie settings dialog:

• Reject All keeps necessary technologies and leaves optional analytics disabled.
• Accept All allows the optional analytics services described above.

You can change your choice at any time by opening Cookie settings in the website footer. To withdraw analytics consent, select Reject All. The page reloads to stop previously loaded analytics scripts.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew consent. Changing your choice does not automatically delete cookies already stored in your browser; you can remove these through your browser settings.

Your browser allows you to view, block or delete cookies and clear local storage or other site data. Clearing this website's local storage also removes your saved privacy choice, so you will be asked to choose again on a later visit.

Blocking necessary technologies may affect some website functions, including security checks on the contact form.
